Around The League: Flyers Offer Shea Weber HUGE Offer Sheet

The Philadelphia Flyers have signed Predators defensemen Shea Weber to a monstrous 14 year offer sheet worth around $100 million. 
The Nashville Predators have 7 days to match the offer put forward by Philadelphia. If they do, Weber will stay a Nashville Predators. If they don’t, Weber will be on his way to Philadelphia.
Weber, 26, scored 19 goals to go along with 30 assists. He would instantly upgrade the Flyers defense and make them a team to reckon with in the Atlantic Division.
… Wow is all I can say.
No one saw this. The Flyers offering this HUGE deal to Weber. Kudos to the Flyers organization for jumping on this while they can and before anyone else could.
I still see the Predators matching though. Shea Weber is their franchise.
