Brandon Prust Signs With Montreal

Well with the signing of Aaron Asham it made Prust expendable and he has found a new home with the Montreal Canadiens. Montreal signs him for 4 years/$10 million, which is ridiculous. Now to all the Rangers fans complaining that the Rangers signed Asham and they are letting Prust go, you need to shutup. Had the Rangers made this deal with Prust it would’ve been a huge mistake on their part.

Prust was great for the Rangers but Asham is going to do the same thing for the Rangers at a cheaper price and before you know it he’s going to be a fan favorite. Sather made the smart move here, he’s saving money for players that will make a big impact on this team. Prust was replaceable and soon enough you won’t even care that he’s gone.
