Ranger Nation is very proud to help support the A.N.G.E.L Initiative.
The A.N.G.E.L. Initiative is an initiative under the non-profit umbrella organization Reach Out, Inc. The A.N.G.E.L. Initiative supports and raises funds for
organizations that believe in the same message and mission of the initiative-to erase the stigma associated with mental health and advocate for mental health initiatives and education/support programming.
Every year, the A.N.G.E.L. Initiative participates in various fundraising events (as well as hosts an annual A.N.G.E.L. Initiative to raise funds of a charity of choice) to raise funds. Over the last 5 years we have raised thousands of dollars for both the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and the Care Plus Foundation as well has participated in events to promote and support Active Minds and the Trevor Project.
You can help support A.N.G.E.L by buying an official Ranger Nation t-shirt at www.shop.nyrnation.com and entering in ANGEL in the coupon field. Proceeds from the sales will go to A.N.G.E.L to help support the cause.
With the recent deaths of New York Rangers forward Derek Boogaard and Winnipeg Jets forward Rick Rypien it’s about time the National Hockey League and it’s fans start to take a strong look at depression and other mental health disorders, the A.N.G.E.L Initiative will help spread the word on these silent but deadly disorders.
