Report: Pilot Error In Crash Killing Lokomotiv Yaroslavl Team

“It looks like the tragedy was caused by a ‘banal error’ by the pilots, which motorists call ‘the blonde’s mistake’. They may have forgotten to release the parking brake,” the newspaper quoted a source close to the investigation as saying.

… this happens way to often and it shouldn’t. They are certified pilots with the lives of so many in their hands and should know exactly what to do and should be double checking everything before take off. 

The pilot said he was unwell and asked the co-pilot to pilot the plane on it’s way to Minsk. This was just a tragic disaster that should not have taken place.
