Zenon Konopka Fined For “Verbal Abuse” Of A Rangers Player

Ottawa Senators forward Zenon Konopka has been fined $2,500 by the NHL for “verbal abuse” of a New York Rangers player during pregame warm-ups before Game 2.

The Ottawa Senators organization was also fined $10,000.

Yes, before the game even started.

… this is a first. Never even heard anything about this all of a sudden this fine comes out.
